I went to this place for a work party and left not impressed at all with the food or service. The 40$ menu had three choices fish, veal or pasta with an entree and coffee. The entree was your standard cold cut and preserved veggies(in oil). We also ordered the calamari for an extra charge(very oily and not very good) I had the veal marsala which was very sweet( a little too sweet if you ask me). It came with a side of linguini which was overcooked and had horrible tomato sauce on it. We arrived at 7pm for this party and were not served our main dish til 1030pm. The staff were exceptionally slow and not very helpful. All in all a bad experience and to top it all off I even had my jacket stolen from their coat rack in their back room.

I was there last night and let me tell u the duo dish Rack of Lamb and big shrimps served with risotto was fantastic. the service was outstanding, they even ask you if you want more pasta or whatever your dish was when you r done n they bring you more with no extra charge... so the portions are great cause u definitely will not leave the place if you r not full. so worth it . keep up the good work

Fromagerie La Campagnola is a good place to go eat when someone else is paying the bill I find it is over priced and even though the food is tasty the portions are not overfilling, also the choice of deserts are very limited.Every year around Christmas our boss brings us to Campagnola's for our departemtal supper ,none of us go back during the year! Sorry !

Where do you want me to start. On april 11th my wife and i were invited to attend a birthday party supper, upon arrival were seated fairly quickly which was nice, and then HELL broke loose. We were about 7 couples meaning 14 people(no kids)and we were all given menus, also we had our wine bottles open since its bring your own wine so for about half hour we all figured out what we were going to have,as i turn my head 1 more couple shows up so that makes us 16, now we have a problem SYSTEM ALERT PANIC MODE everyone freaks out and our menus are snatched away from under our noses and behold a sheet was presented to us,this sheet specified a hand full selection of dishes and entrees with 1 price of 40$..MEANING that either you can a duo pasta dish or a linguini with shrimp main dish or you can have a simple chef salad and a duo pasta and it will always cost 40$ WHAT A JOKE HA HA..Speaking to the manager about this he responded THATS THE WAY IT ISWHAT!anyways his explination was that when he reserves for 15 people he gives out a fixed menu because it happenned already that him and his brother(other owner)got and i quote shafted that groups reserve and then there are people that don't eat so it takes up space and he can't have a turn around on tables..Sorry buddy but i once owned a restaurant and thats a NO! NO! because we had specified that we were 8 couples your telling me that you rather have an attitude and loose 16 clients all because we were 2 people over and rip us off with a hand made sheet and with a ridiculous price where either pasta and salad or seafood and and fresh fish same price..Also he concluded that because its bring your own wine he has no choice to do it like that...(nice language skills). So this mess was all before we decided to not make a scene and settle, so my wife ordered the calamari(13$ on the menu)as an entree and as a main dish she took the veal scalloppini with a side order included spaghetti i think(21$)on the menu so that makes a total of 34$ which we paid 40$ for, taxes are included in the price, no dessert inluded sinch we brought a cake so that means that my expresso (which was included) cost me 6$ DAMN! that better be a good expresso.Anyways getting to the food The calamari was drenched in oil not even towel dried or put in the oven after frying to dry off the oil and they were very salty,as for me my entree of rapini and sausage was also oily and my pasta dish had about 1 ml of oil at the bottom of the dish..Whoever cooks there loves oil..When we got to the dessert part my wife is alergic to nuts but the cake that was brought there contains nuts, so i asked the waiter if my wife could have a cannoli(italian dessert) and i will be glad to pay for it(even though it might cost me 20$)..the waiter answered me and i quote if we give you one then everybody might want onei looked at him with this startling stare in my eyes and said What! anyways he said he would make an exeption for us so my wife finally got the cannoli and it sucked...Anyways we paid the bill 80$ and we also were kind enough to leave a 15$ tip and we left..In conclusion the service was lousy, the food was a generous 5 on 10 and the manager was a clown so we had it all at La Campagnola...NEVER AGAIN.. Thanks S

Nice warm ambience and the waiters are so polite and proper not to mention helpful when it comes to suggestions. The food is excellent. The stuffed calamari and the stuffed chicken with ricotta and spinach is to die for.
